Midori 0.0.20 et Webkit-team

Christian Dywan a annoncé aujourd’hui la sortie de la nouvelle version 0.0.20 de midori.

Il a d’ailleurs oublié de préciser que son navigateur était maintenant devenu un projet XFCE.

En marge de cette sortie, Michele Costantino Soccio et moi avons décidé de constituer une équipe webkit sur launchpad.

C’est donc dans le PPA de cette équipe que vous trouverez dorénavant les paquets WebKit (actuellement en version r35844), Midori et bientôt Epiphany-webkit.

Pour Hardy les nouvelles lignes de sources.list sont donc :

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/webkit-team/ubuntu hardy main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/webkit-team/ubuntu hardy main

NB : Mon PPA personnel reste néanmoins toujours disponible.

Little updates on Midori & WebKit

As usual things are moving on the webkit and midori front.

Webkit :

I updated my ppa to nightly build r36641.

I also change the names of the package to match the Debian naming scheme.

So now it’s libwebkit-1.0-1, libwebkit-1.0-1-dbg and libwebkit-dev.

Midori:

New version 0.0.19 is out.

And of course you can use swfdec 0.7.4 to watch Youtube and other flash contents.

Still no Java, the actual web plugins are using OJI instead of NPAPI (Netscape Protocol) so it can’t work on Hardy, but even with the news version (1.6.0_07-b06) of Intrepid I’m not able to use java 😦

Midori and Swfdec

Alexander Hunziker asked me to update my swfdec packages to the new 0.7.4 release (released Wednesday).

I also give this new release a try and here it is :

Maintenant il faut attendre que swfdec et gnash sortent leurs nouvelles versions.
Pour l’instant je n’y suis arrivé qu’avec le flash non libre (et sans nspluginwrapper).

Midori 0.0.18

Une nouvelle version de Midori vient de débarquer.

Du côté de WebKit les choses continuent à avancer rapidement (voir cet article[en]).

Pour tester ce petit monde, direction mon PPA ou vous trouverez midori et Webkit r32828. le PPA Midori ainsi que le PPA Webkit.

Webkit r32284 et Midori

Grâce à Mike Hommey un nouveau paquet Webkit est arrivé dans Debian Unstable.

En l’utilisant j’ai pu télécharger la révision 32284 de Webkit dans mon PPA pour Hardy.

Il est à noter que les paquets Qt WebKit ont été abandonés car ils seront fournis directement par Qt.

Webkit r32284 and Midori

Thanks to Mike Hommey a new Webkit package came to Debian Unstable.

Using it I was able to upload revision 32284 of Webkit into my PPA for Hardy.

Note that Qt WebKit package are dropped since this will be provided along Qt.

Midori, Webit and Gutsy & Hardy

For now there is versions of Webkit and Midori for Gutsy and Hardy.

I will try to keep it on par.

Midori 0.0.17 and WebKit Revision 29753

New midori version 0.0.17 and Webkit revision 29753 packages in my PPA.
